NSCP Free External Penetration Test – Sweepstake
OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in the NSCP Free External Penetration Test – Sweepstake (each, a “Sweepstake”), participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to such Sweepstake. Each Sweepstake is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
SPONSOR: The sponsor of this Sweepstake is Elteni, LLC (‘Sponsor’). By participating in the Sweepstake, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of Entries and the overall administration of the Sweepstake. Participants should look solely to Sponsor with any questions, comments or problems related to the Sweepstake. Sponsor may be reached by email at hello@elteni.com during the Promotion Period.
SWEEPSTAKES: Unless otherwise determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, Sponsor will operate one (1) or more Sweepstakes during the period beginning Monday, October 17, 2022 at 8:00 am and Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 12:30 pm.
ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of participants in the applicable Sweepstake.
PRIZES: For each Sweepstake, one (1) winner will receive a free external penetration test* and one (1) winner will receive an external vulnerability test. A free penetration test includes testing of up to 5 public IP addresses, with no social engineering. Elteni’s external penetration test follows a methodology that includes OSINT (open source intelligence gathering) analysis, and technical testing of public facing interfaces that uses both automated and manual techniques. A vulnerability assessment includes testing of up to 10 interfaces and is fully automated.
ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 or over (the ‘Participant’). Sponsor, Service Providers, such as Regulatory Agencies, Law Firms, Accounting Firms, Regulatory Consulting firms, their affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (the ‘Promotion Entities’), are ineligible to enter the Sweepstake or win a prize. This Sweepstake is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstake entries will be accepted at the Elteni booth #7 at the NSCP Conference hosted inthe Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. Entries for external penetration test will require participants to find the blue ink pen. All participants that find a pen with black ink will be entered into the external vulnerability test Sweepstake.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, exact times and locations of Sweepstake ticket entries will be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion and may change from time to time. ALL METHODS OF ENTRY MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES. Sponsor may suspend or stop the entry of Sweepstake tickets at any time in its sole discretion. THE SWEEPSTAKE IS VOID OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES AND WHEREVER PROHIBITED BY LAW.
DRAWING: One (1) winning ticket for the external penetration test will be randomly selected by Sponsor on Monday, October 17, at approximately 5:30 pm eastern time at booth 7. One (1) winning ticket for the external vulnerability assessment will be randomly selected by Sponsor on Monday, October 17, at approximately 5:30pm. One (1) winning ticket for the external penetration test will be randomly selected by Sponsor on Tuesday, October 18, at approximately 5:30 pm eastern time at booth 7. One (1) winning ticket for the external vulnerability assessment will be randomly selected by Sponsor on Tuesday, October 17, at approximately 5:30pm.In the event the drawing must be postponed due to health-safety emergency, or other “act of god”, participants should refer to https://www.elteni.com for specific announcements regarding the Sweepstake. In all cases, the winning participants will be selected and contacted within one hundred twenty (120) hours of the close of the Sweepstake. Participants need not be present at the drawing to win or to claim the prize.
HOW TO CLAIM A PRIZE: To present a winning Sweepstake entry and exchange copies of all required documentation, individuals must contact Elteni by sending an email to hello@elteni.com NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 31, 2022 with the subject line “NSCP Sweepstake Winner”. The email address must match the email address on the entry card. Failure to claim the prize, to submit any required document within the specified time period, or any other noncompliance with these Official Rules may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. The prize (external penetration test or external vulnerability assessment) must be completed before April 1, 2023. IN THE EVENT OF FORFEITURE OR UNCLAIMED PRIZE, THE PRIZE WILL NOT BE AWARDED TO ANYONE.
VALIDITY AND ELIGIBILITY OF SWEEPSTAKE TICKETS: Sponsor shall be the sole judge of the validity and eligibility of all Sweepstake tickets and required documentation. Sweepstake tickets which have been or appear to have been tampered with are void. Sweepstake tickets presented by any participant who has violated these Official Rules in any manner are void.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstake, each participant agrees the Released Parties, as defined below, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be indemnified, released and held harmless by each participant against, any liability for injuries, losses, costs, expenses or damages of any kind, including damages for death, personal injury, property damage or property loss, resulting from, whether in whole or in part or directly or indirectly, participation in this Sweepstake or the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any Sweepstake ticket or prize. “Released Parties” means Sponsor, Elteni, LLC, each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, owners, partners, contractors, agents, and advertising and promotion partners and agencies, and all officers, directors, employees, representatives, shareholders, members, consultants and agents of the foregoing.
PUBLICITY/INFORMATION RELEASE: By participating in the Sweepstake, each participant agrees Sponsor may share his/her name, contact information, and transaction information with any presenting or sponsoring partner of the Sweepstake. In addition, each winner, by accepting a prize, grants Sponsor, Sponsor’s designees and affiliates and any presenting or sponsoring partner of the Sweepstake, full permission, except where legally prohibited, to use such winner’s name, address (city and state only), photograph, personal statements, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation and without notice, review or approval, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, and on the Internet and world wide web, in perpetuity.
DISPUTES: This Sweepstake IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF NEW YORK, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstake, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstake, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in NEW YORK having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees. Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
